Very appropriate to devote our first post on this site to a reminder of the Big Step Walk between Rangers and Celtic football grounds. Such walks aim to contribute to kicking gambling advertisements out of football.
Since then Martin has joined other walks. One was between Edinburgh and Glasgow, another on the Gretna to Wembley Stadium walk in which Martin hiked the fisrt leg all the way to Kendal.
It is important to recognise the efforts made by those directly harmed by gambling, and to work to raise awareness and challenge powerful agencies which promote gambling so heavily.
